The book "Black and White" is interesting book about two young high school kids that play both Football and Basketball for there schools and are good athletes. They are best friends in this story one kids named Marcus and the others named Eddie. Marcus's race is black and Eddie's is white they met when they were 12 years of age and live by each other in the projects. They both are both in basketball in the beginning of the story and they decide they need to some how get money for their basketball year and for there senior field trips and such. So they decide to use Eddie's grandpas gun to rob some people. 

The story about Yao gets very interesting because it shows his ups and down 

s in his sport. When he first started playing in China for the Sharks junior team he didn't start and his parents didn't want him to pick basketball as his career because its hard to find a job after your done with your basketball career.

The main character in my story of course is Yao Ming. Its a good book about his life in both America and China. I like like this book because it gives me information about the Chinese culture that I didn't know about. It also tells you good information about his NBA career and his basketball career in China. It also tells you information about his parents height and their careers.
